Mobile Bay Inn offers travelers a boutique-style stay at a budget-friendly price, focused on simplicity and comfort. We’ve completely remodeled and refreshed our property with clean and comfortable guest rooms, essential amenities, and friendly service, creating a fresh and welcoming place to stay in Mobile.

A Little History

Originally built in the 1950s, the property has a history rooted in the traditional motor-court style of travel. Over the years, the building has served different purposes, including use as apartments and as a motor court.
Now we’re giving the property a new chapter as Mobile Bay Inn. Our renovation combines the character of an older Mobile property with a clean, simple, and modern guest experience—preserving its history while creating a comfortable place for today’s travelers.

Fresh Start In Mobile

Mobile Bay Inn is an independently, family owned and operated hotel. Our goal is to create a better experience for our guests, with our remodeled guest rooms, updated furnishings, and improvements throughout the hotel.

In the Heart of Mobile Mardi Gras

Mobile is home to the oldest organized Mardi Gras celebration in the United States, and the tradition remains a defining part of the city’s culture.
We are located directly along the Mardi Gras parade route, putting guests right in the middle of the excitement during Carnival season. From the sights and sounds of the parades to the energy throughout downtown, guests can experience one of Mobile’s most celebrated traditions right outside the hotel.

Our Location

We are conveniently located in downtown Mobile, giving guests access to downtown attractions, dining, entertainment, business destinations, and the city’s historic character.
